- Gossen Metrawatt M520O, The new Gossen Metrawatt M520M PROFITEST MTECH test instrument provides professional electricians with a state-of-the-art, universal measuring tool. The instrument is ideally suited for approvals & periodic testing of stationary electrical installations as it is capable of executing all measurements for testing safety measures in electrical systems as required by VDE 0100, part 600, & parts of VDE 0413. The PROFITEST MTECH provides the user with the highest possible safety levels thanks to measuring category CAT IV. The M520O ensures that an installation complies with applicable regulations, & that it functions reliably. Test reports can be transferred to a PC & archived as a record of correct installation. In practice the device is extremely easy to operate & offers a wide variety of tests, focussing on electrical engineering tasks performed on a daily basis. In addition to basic standard tests, the instrument also offers functions for subjecting installations to a thorough test, which provides highly accurate results. Its wide range of functionality is supported by intelligent, ergonomic design, control is simple & safe, & data can be conveniently read from the large illuminated display. Tests & measurements can be performed with PROFITEST MTECH test instruments on all alternating current & 3-phase systems with voltages of 65 to 500V & frequencies of 15.4 to 420 Hz. In addition to the functions found in the MBASE instrument (54-7389) the MTECH has the ability to test AC/DC sensitive RCDs, type B & B+. The MTECH also operates as a versatile DMM & can measure AC/DC currerent up to 10A, AC/DC voltage up to 600V, resistance, conductance, capacitance, frequency up to 1 M Hz, duty cycle & temperature plus diode & continuity test modes.
