- Voltcraft VC880 (ISO), The new Voltcraft VC880 (K) digital multimeter is sturdy, reliable, & practical with an ergonomic shape & safe for the user; these are the attributes which describe a professional's multimeter. The patented casing construction only means that you can open the casing for changing the battery & the fuses when all the measuring leads have been disconnected. The integrated test lead detection-function (TLD) warns the user if the test leads are connected incorrectly. With input voltages >30V a warning icon appears in the display. The unique safety concept is rounded off by the sturdy casing with sprayed soft-rubber protection, the 1000V high-performance fuses as well as the impedance switch-over, which reduces the input resistance upon pressing a button to avoid incorrect measurements due to stray voltages. An opto-electronic interface is standard equipment. The devices are for measurement in the over-voltage category CAT IV 600V & CAT III 1000V approved & tested as per EN-61010 standards.
