The PSU serves as a potential free DC voltage source to operate low-voltage consumables. The adjustable output can be tapped with up to 5A at the front and up to the full nominal current rating at the back. The front output is limited to 5A and protected against overload. Connection on the front is performed with 4mm safety sockets, and on the back with high current socket screw connectors. The current and voltage can be set continually through the rotary digital controls using both coarse and fine settings in order to allow fast and precise value settings. The values are displayed on the structured LCD display. A power
