ForgeFix Masonry Nail Heavy Gauge ZP - ForgeFix MN3550, These Forgefix Masonry Nails are heavy gauge universal nails, suitable for fastening all manner of fixtures in place on masonry applications. The nails are manufactured from austempered (heat-treated) high carbon steel for strength and durability, and are Zinc Plated for increased resistance to corrosion. For fastening, cabling, timber form work etc. to concrete and masonry. Always wear suitable eye protection to the recommended standards. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the
