Beagle Core 512MB RAM 4GB Flash 1 GHz Open Source Processor Boards & Starter Kit
- Beagle Core BCM1.ETR, The Beagle Core BCM1 computer module puts the power & connectivity of the Beagle Bone Black design in to a compact package built to industry standards, just right for your next Io T (Internet of Things) or embedded project. This BCM1 ETR module offers an extended operating temperature range over the standard module, making it suitable for use in an even wider range of products & processes. The board is fully Open Source under the Creative Commons Share Alike licence (CC-BY-SA 3.0) which means you are free to modify this design & use it even in a commercial product. The Beagle Core is fully compatible with the Beagle Bone Black, so you can transfer your prototype hardware & software from the Beagle Bone to the Beagle Core & it will still work. The design philosophy for the BCM1 is to match the core functions of the Beagle Bone & allow you to create your own baseboard with just the connectors you need. Maybe you don't need the HDMI socket, but you do need more USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports, it's your call. Its standard ports include 1 x RGMII interface for 10/100/1000 Mbit LAN, 1 x USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 host & client, 1 x SDIO (for SD memory cards), 1 x UART / 1 x JTAG (for debugging) & up to 59 x GPIO for HDMI, CAN, I2C, etc.. The Beagle Core runs the same operating system (OS) software as the Beagle Bone boards including Debian, Android & Ubuntu. There is a comprehensive getting started guide which also
Includes:: links to the latest OS images. & because the BCM1 is fully Open Source you can download the schematics, Bo M, etc. from their Github repository. Beagle Core BCM1.ETR Computer Module 1 G Hz 512MB Extended Temperature Range
