TinkerKit Modular Prototyping System - TinkerKit T020010, The Sensor Shield V2 Module is the heart of the TinkerKit system. It serves as the interface between the Arduino being used and the TinkerKit sensors and actuators, giving a prototyping system that requires no breadboarding or discrete component assembly. The Sensor Shield has 12x standard TinkerKit 3-pin connectors, six of them are analog inputs and the other six are analog outputs that connect to the PWM capable outputs of the Arduino board. Additionally there is a 4-pin serial socket that allows the shield to communicate with other devices and a 4-pin TWI socket for communications to I2C protocol supported devices.
