The Robot features a motor board and a control board, with each board having its own dedicated processor - one for motor functions and one for sensors and control functions. Each board is a fully programmable Arduino board via the Arduino IDE. The Robot carries a variety of sensors and actuators including a digital compass, 5-key keypad and a potentiometer. Resultant outputs can be displayed on a full-colour LCD display and there is a speaker for audio output. There is also an SD card reader and LEDs for status display.
