Adafruit ESP8266 SMT Module Breakout Board - ESP-12 - Adafruit 2491, The Adafruit ESP8266 SMT Module Breakout Board uses the Internet of Things chip of choice, the ESP8266, running at 80MHz, with 4Mbytes of Flash memory, 9 x GPIO pins, and 1 x analogue input. Adafruit have produced this breadboard friendly breakout with an on board antenna so you can get to know this very successful chip. It comes pre-programmed with NodeMCU Lua firmware which lets you perform complex network tasks in a small number of steps. Supplied as an assembled and tested ESP8266 breakout. Please note, this is not a suitable board for novices as the raw chip can be difficult to use. Instead, consider Adafruit's HUZZAH ESP8266 breakout which is a useful board for prototyping as it is easier to get working than
