A HED rim that is lighter stiffer & wider than most standard rims not only improves cornering performance due to its extra width but its air volume is effectively increased meaning it can be run at a lower pressure for better absorption & more speed. The Chris King R45 hubset has been designed to meet the demands of road cycling. A sleek new hubshell body & 17mm axles means that there is 17mm from dropout to dropout resisting deflection when cornering or when you are in full sprint. Featuring stainless steel sealed bearings that are handmade andcan be easily serviced at regular intervals. Combining the HED Ardennes rims with the Chris King Hubs gives you a great wheelset that is an affordable aerodynamic masterpiece which corners beautifully & can withstand a bit of abuse.
