Following the same philosophy as our gents models Forme offer an exclusive Feminine Ergo (FE) Longcliffe Series developed for both anatomic & ergonomic requirements ensuring a precise & stable ride. Our Longcliffe FE models have a compact frame with a shorter top tube & longer steering tube supplied with narrower handlebars & wider saddles to accept the wider female pelvic area. In addition to triple butted AL7005 tubing we also feature a handbuilt wheelset using sealed bearing polished hubs & Mavic CXP22 rims Shimano Tiagra rear derailleur & a lightweight Microshift 10spd lever. Rather than following suit with many other bicycles & equipping our bikes with a budget wheelset & groupset to fit the price point we have specifically sourced a mix of the best possible components built onto our Forme designed frameset offering you performance benefits you only usually find by custom building your own bike. A quality wheelset as featured on the Longcliffe 3.0 is far more important for tackling wet potholed roads than simply offering a bike with a full matching groupset. The Longcliffe series offers race performance & the perfect basis for training fitness & commuting with comfort at the forefront of our minds. With slightly shorter top tubes & longer head tubes the Longcliffe range is ideal for any endurance ride. Aluminium is considered the most versatile of materials for a cyclist however this is only applicable if the appropriate geometry & material is applied not to mention the best available equipment ensemble. We take care not to neglect the most important fundamentals of a bike. The frame & wheelset should always be the priority for any rider purchasing a complete bicycle package. This is why on our entire Forme Road range we use AL7005 grade of tubing to our own custom geometry all handcrafted by Kinesis. This is partnered by the best available wheelsets for the price.
