Designed with the environment in mind, these 4 x 8 Priory Elements Ecolabels are 100% plastic-free, made from FSC certified mix credit paper pulp, fully recyclable & have no phenol-top coating. Unlike regular thermal labels, our phenol-free thermal printer labels have a top coating that is vitamin C based, a natural nutrient that poses no damage to our environment. Priory Elements Ecolabels™ are suitable for direct thermal & water-based flexography, & provide long-lasting, high quality print & colour. Commonly known as BPA, phenols & bisphenols which coat normal thermal labels are dangerous for the environment. When disposed of, they are incapable of fully breaking down, resulting in microplastics which become ingested by animals & sea life, remaining in our food chain & ecosystems forever. As well as posing risks to our planet, exposure to these chemicals can cause damage to our health & bodies. Choosing phenol-free thermal labels can help drastically reduce your environmental impact caused by packaging waste & instead protect our planet. The backing paper material is honey glassine, made from wood pulp making it fully recyclable, biodegradable, plastic-free, & sustainable
