You can enjoy radio broadcast locally with DAB / DAB+ Digital Radio & traditional FM Analogue, this means you can listen to all your favourite stations, from; the BBC, national commercial broadcasters & any locally broadcast stations. All these stations are easily found with auto-scan features & on digital radio all your available stations are listed alphabetically. If you want to listen to digital stations but don’t have DAB / DAB+ coverage, or want to listen to stations from all around the world, Susie-Q features Internet Radio which gives access to thousands of stations which can be searched, or browsed by geographic location or genre. It’s hard to imagine you’ll ever tire of the radio with so much choice from anywhere in the world, but when you do want to supplement you’re listening with your own music, audiobooks or podcasts – Susie-Q will act as your smart speaker with a range of connection options. You can stream wirelessly from your phone, tablet or other smart device via Bluetooth or NFC. The addition of a USB (Universal Serial Bus) charge port means you can even power-up your device as you stream. For the more traditional a 3.5mm aux-in provides a hard cabled connection. If you’re a Spotify Premium user you can also take advantage of the built-in Spotify Connect functionality within Susie-Q. In addition to attention to detail in every aspect of the speakers from cone fabric to the type of magnets used, Susie-Q features innovative technology with Analogue Sound Processing (ASP). ASP is a unique technology which enhances the quality of sound but maintains the warm & richness of tone that you would experience from vinyl as an example instead of the clinical sound achieved with a digital processor. You’ll also be pleased to know that if you already have a beautiful pair of stereo speakers you wish to add to your Susie-Q to create an even more expansive sound, you can do this with the dual Left & Right RCA jacks. Susie-Q is also part of the Frontier Silicon UNDOK multi-room system, this open source platform means you can connect your Susie-Q to a range of other brand products to create a comprehensive audio system. You can control Susie-Q & the wider multi-room set-up via the UNDOK app available on Android & i OS. Susie-Q features so much technology you could easily gloss over the aesthetic detail, but this is where the true craftsmanship of the design shines through.
