Mr Fothergills Strawberry red & white mixed Unusual mixture of sweet red & white berries. Generally fruits in the first year ideal for beds pots & baskets. Excellent source of vitamin C.S: January-March under glass H: August-October Sow indoors a warm moist kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow a thin layer on the surface of a small tray or pot of pre-watered compost. Place in a warm light position. A temperature of approx 20C (68F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings starts appearing in 14-21 days. Transpalnt to individual pots when 10cm (4 inches) tall. Grow on in cooler but not cold conditions (avoid frosts) before planting out 25cm (10 inches) apart or into individual containers when frosts are over. Mr. F's Tips: The size of the small fruits is more than made up by their delicious flavour. A mulch in summer will help keep plants moist & berries off the ground. Plants will fruit for several years. Contains 150 seeds inside!
