This super pond pump & filter set features the latest technology & is perfect for ponds up to 4, 500 litres (1, 000 gallons). The solids-handling pump runs 24/7 pushing dirt & debris up to the pond filter where the solid particles are caught in the filter foams. Over time these filter sponges will block up (indicated by a red marker popping up on the filter lid). When the filter needs cleaning simply switch the pump off & turn the toggle switch to 'clean'. The pond filter will then begin its uniqe three minute motorised cleaning sequence.
