Product Description

Vitis vinifera ' Black Hamburgh' (syn. ' Schiava Grossa')    This very old dessert grape is the same as the Great Vine at Hampton Court Palace which is now the oldest & most famous grape vine in existence. Planted in 1768 it still produces about 600lbs of grapes each year. The large berries are dark red/violet, juicy & sweet. Will ripen in a cold greenhouse but will benefit from heat in cooler areas. Season: Sept. Plant
