Paul Mc Grath documentary focussing on John & Yokos famous Bed-In for peace at the Queen Elisabeth Hotel Montreal in May & June 1969. After spending their honeymoon conducting the first of their anti-Vietnam war Bed-Ins at the Amsterdam Hilton John & Yoko decided to try to repeat the process in another location. Refused entry to the U.S. on a visa violation they subsequently tried the Bahamas but finding the heat oppressive finally settled on Montreal. Exploring how the elements of the event came together Mc Grath interviews various people who were present among others Yoko Ono the comedian Tom Smothers & a variety of journalists & music industry figures. Also included is an interview with Andre Perry who helped produce the subsequent Give Peace A Chance single the live recording of which is captured in the film.
