Gold-plated phono sockets on rear R2i also has other quality features that have been carefully considered. Our new high contrast display with large format clock makes time reading clearly legible even from afar. On the front panel a headphone socket along with a line input allows headphones & other audio devices to be easily connected. Usefully the volume of the headphones output is ‘remembered’ independently from the main volume, so whenever headphones are inserted the volume reverts to the users last selected level. On the rear panel we’ve provided two pairs of high quality gold-plated phono sockets. The first provides output for recording or hook-up to secondary systems & the second provides an additional input for the permanent connection of a CD/MP3 player or TV/DVD.
