Although from the outside only little appears to have changed, the Lenco IPT-223 is a complete re-imagining of the IPT-2, succeeding it in every way. Boasting an inbuilt DVD player, the Lenco IPT-223 has added SCART, video out & HDMI so the tower can double up as a DVD player as well as outputting photos & videos from an iPhone or iPod touch. There are also left & right auxiliary inputs so it can be used as a sound bar. While the Lenco IPT223 has kept its FM tuner, Apple dock connector & SD/MMC card slot & can read MP3, WMA & Jpeg files from a DVD.
