The Sky-Watcher Skyhawk-1145P Syn Scan AZ Go To Telescope hand control allows you point your telescope at a specific object, or even tour the night sky at the touch of a button. The menu system allows automatic slewing to over 42, 900 objects. It uses the Two-star or Brightest star alignment system. Download the free Syn Scan Pro app to control the AZ-GTe with your smartphone. Available for both i OS & Android. The AZ-GTe mounting, with its built-in Wi-Fi module, creates its very own Wi-Fi network so the mount can be used anywhere without any reliance on other Wi Fi or mobile networks. Once you have entered your coordinates into the App, & following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the Apps intuitive touchscreen menu.

The AZ-GTe & Syn Scan App provides full computerised Go-To control, allowing the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the Apps extensive database of 10, 000 plus celestial objects.

The Startravel-102 is a two-element, air-spaced achromatic refractor & a well proven performer for Rich-Field views of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies & planets, the Moon & the Sun, although this would need safety filters added.
