METZ Mecablitz 48 AF-1 Digital Flashgun - NIKON
The Metz Mecablitz 48 AF-1 digital for Nikon cameras is the latest versatile flash unit from Metz, this flashgun includes a USB interface for firmware updates and builds on the Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-1 digital flash in terms of form and function. Thanks to its USB interface updates can be carried out easily via the internet and due to its high GN of 48 at ISO 100/21 and 105 mm focal length and with its vertically-tilting and horizontally-swivelling head, the 48 AF-1 digital is not only especially powerful, but also can be used for bounce flash to great effect. There is also a reflector card that can be flipped open and an integrated snap-out wide angle lens diffuser giving flash illumination for wide-angle lens focal lengths from 18 mm (35-mm format). The Metz 48 AF-1 is also fully
compatible with sophisticated flash exposure techniques such as fast-shutter synchronisation, wireless flash using its slave function with either a Metz 58AF-1 as a master or with the camera manufacturers own flash master. Manual settings can also be used for full creative control of your light output.
