The Power Traveller Solarmonkey Adventurer is a solar charger for all your small 5V electronic devices such as mobile phones, iPods, e-readers, etc. Perfect for when you are away from an electrical supply. It is charged via two solar panels which generate an electric current when exposed directly to sunlight, which in turn charges your device. It can also be charged via the mains or a USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. You can also charge the Solarmonkey Adventurer & their devices simultaneously, which saves your valuable time. It features auto-load, self sensing switching technology, meaning when a device is connected, the adventurer will automatically start to charge your device & will optimise the charging parameters required.

The polysilicon solar panel offers photovoltaic efficiency up to 17% & features a USB (Universal Serial Bus) 700m A at 5V output, fully supporting Apple iPhones, iPads, iPods, mobile phones & other 5V gadgets such as portable games consoles, handheld GPS systems, e-readers, etc.

One of the features of the solarmonkey adventurer is that it can simultaneously charge the unit & recharge a device via the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port. The travel case allows easy access to the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port which is perfect for saving time when you need to check if you have missed that important telephone call or check your coordinates on the GPS.

The Power Traveller Spidermonkey 4-Way USB (Universal Serial Bus) Hub is designed to be as space efficient as possible, & fits stylishly with your expensive gadgets. It has 4 USB (Universal Serial Bus) charging ports
- the first two at the top of the unit are specifically for your Apple devices such as iPad, iPhone or iPod, as they feature self-sensing technology. This means they automatically detect which device is attached & change the charging parameters accordingly.

The third & fourth USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports have been designed primarily with Samsung & Nokia devices respectively in mind but will support any device that can be charged via 5V USB (Universal Serial Bus).

The spidermonkey has three input options;

- via 5V AC transformer socket
- via micro USB (Universal Serial Bus) socket
- via 5V-30V socket

Ready to use straight out of the box, there is included a universal AC mains charger which works in over 150 countries worldwide, but there are several other charging options. You can power the spidermonkey via Powertraveller gorilla range of chargers through the 5V-30V socket, or via the powermonkey extreme through the 5V AC socket. Charging via the powergorilla means that you can use the gorilla's multi-voltage settings to increase the power to the USB (Universal Serial Bus) sockets dependent on your needs. The spidermonkey can also be powered from your computer's USB (Universal Serial Bus) port, making it the perfect desktop product for those needing to keep gadgets charged throughout the day.

It is housed in a tough, aluminium shell that keeps the internals of the spidermonkey cool, & the product has a 4-light display to show individually when all 4 USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports are working & gadgets can be charged.
