The Celestron 1.25" Eyepiece Filter Set is a nice beginner-s set of 1.25" planetary filters for any telescope. With this set you can see features on the Moon & planets in a whole new light. The aluminum cell is threaded on top & bottom for stacking.

Each Celestron 1.25" filter has 26 mm of clear aperture, & is mounted in a black anodized aluminum cell that is threaded on both sides. Double threads allow the user to stack different filters together to create a custom color or affect the transmission percentage. Special coatings on each filter protect against reflections, ghosting, & scratches. A plastic case is included to keep your filters safe when not in use.

Filter set
Includes::-
80A Blue
- Enhances the contrast of the cloud belts on Jupiter & the polar ice caps on Saturn. It also can be used to increase contrast on the Moon if you don't mind the color shift.

21 Orange
- Sharpens the boundaries along the plains of Mars due to the reduction of blue/green transmissions. Use on Jupiter & Saturn to enhance detail in the belts & polar regions.

12 Deep Yellow
- A good general purpose filter for smaller aperture telescopes (less than 4.), the 12 Yellow will improve the contrast of features on the Moon. It will also help you see the equatorial belts on Jupiter & Saturn, clouds & the polar ice caps on Mars, & the dusky detail on Uranus & Neptune.

ND-96-0.3 Neutral Density
- A great filter for the Moon, & for stacking with other planetary filters to increase density without changing the color. A neutral density filter is also useful when splitting binary star systems (double stars). Use anytime you want to decrease brightness but don't want to affect the color characteristics of an object.

The Celestron 11 SCT Advanced VX Telescope is designed for the intermediate or beginner astroimager, being a small & portable Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on a Advanced VX mount it is easy for one person to transport & assemble. The Schmidt-Cassegrain design eliminates chromatic aberration, which makes it a good choice for entry-level astroimaging. The Advanced VX mount was designed to provide optimum imaging performance for smaller telescopes. This means the smaller telescope can now take advantage of All-Star Polar Alignment & autoguider support. You will be able to track through long exposures using permanently programmable periodic error correction & image across the meridian without doing a meridian flip. This means you can seamlessly image the best part of night sky. The Advanced VX features significantly larger base castings than the previous design, which improves stability under heavier loads. The enhanced motors offer more torque & can handle slight load imbalances with ease. Features
- 11 (2800mm) f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain

Includes::
Star Bright XLT coatings for better light transmission
- 41% more light gathering than a 9.25 telescope
- 9x 50 optical finderscope for locating alignment stars
- Integer gear ratios & permanently programmable Periodic Error Correction eliminates recurring track errors from the worm gear.
- Autoguider port for long exposure imaging
- New motors offer enhanced tracking performance & provide more power to overcome load imbalances
- Updated industrial design offers more rigidity, less flexure & enhanced aesthetics
- New design allows viewing or imaging across the meridian without interference from the motors housings
