'Man of the Forest' (1933) is based on a novel by Zane Grey. When Brett Dale (Scott) uncovers a plot to kidnap the daughter of a wealthy landowner, he manages to prevent the kidnapping, but the young woman's father is killed by the kidnapper. Finding himself framed for the murder, Dale must do all he can to clear
his name and bring the real murderer to justice.
