All six episodes from the third season of the BBC comedy series written by Roy Clarke, in which miserly stuttering shopkeeper Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) employs his down-trodden nephew Granville (David Jason) in his grocery shop while attempting to woo the ample-bosomed Nurse Gladys Emmanuel (Lynda Baron). In ' An Errand Boy By the Ear', Arkwright is baffled when his cutomers are upset by his treatment of Granville. ' The Ginger Men' sees Arkwright forcing his ginger cake on Nurse Gladys after being told that ginger has aphrodisiac properties. In ' Duet for the Solo Bicycle', a squeak in the shop's bicycle is driving Granville round the bend
- but can it really be affecting his love life as he claims? ' How to Ignite Your Errand Boy' finds Arkwright planning to make his own firelighters
- but the task proves rather dangerous. In ' The Man From Down Under', one of Nurse Gladys's admirers returns from a trip to Australia, & gets a real Yorkshuire welcome from Arkwright. Finally, in ' The Cool Cocoa Tin Lid', Granville is trying to look cool in open-necked shirt & sunglasses
- but where is a poor errand boy to find a medallion?
