Nete is a woman in control: of her job, her home, her husband & her teenage daughter. But when her father is given three weeks to live, & Nete virtuously insists that he move in to her family home, things begin to unravel. The illness is not so terminal as it seemed, & as Nete's father begins to recover, the father/daughter relationship shows signs of strain. Meanwhile, Nete's husband starts an affair, & her daughter is growing increasingly distant. But as Nete's firm control gives way, she finds herself able to let go & actually starts to enjoy herself.
