Television dramatisation of the relationship between influential comedians Peter Cook & Dudley Moore, written & directed by Terry Johnson. Credited as the inventors of modern British satire, the film charts the highs & lows of these two very different comedians, whose careers & private lives were often as anarchic as their humour. It follows from their first meeting as Cambridge undergraduates in 1960, through to their beginnings in Beyond the Fringe & into their later TV performances as the legendary Pete & Dud & Derek & Clive. Rhys Ifans stars as Peter Cook, while Aidan Mc Ardle stars as Dudley Moore.
