Chasing Sound! - The Les Paul Story

Portrait of musician and guitar designer Les Paul, known in the music world as the 'Architect of Rock 'n' Roll'. As a young man, Paul played guitar for Bing Crosby and other jazz greats. Throughout the 1940s and 50s he had a string of hits in partnership with his wife, Mary Ford. At the same time he was designing what would become one of the greatest of all rock icons: the Gibson Les Paul guitar. He also pioneered the art of multitrack recording and overdubbing, and was responsible for techniques that would be used in recording studios throughout the world for the next forty years.
