Martial arts action drama. Charlene Choi stars as Zhu Yanzhi, a girl who disguises herself as a boy in order to enter the country's foremost martial arts academy. As she struggles to contend with the physical strength of her male counterparts, Zhu finds an ally in the school's top student, Liang Shanbo (Chun Wu), who takes her under his wing & trains her to become one of the most lethal assassins in the academy. Over time the pair fall in love, but Zhu is betrothed to a childhood friend, Ma (Ge Hu), who carries out a vicious blackmail plot to ensure that she will become his wife. When Ma's treachery comes to light, Chun Shan is left with no choice but to use the skills he has learned from the academy to exact justice.
