Made-for-TV biopic casting an unusual slant on the life & career of Hollywood goddess Marilyn Monroe. The film uses dream-like sequences to portray Marilyn as she was before she changed her name & became a star, with Ashley Judd in the Norma Jean Baker role, & Mira Sorvino as Marilyn. In these sequences, the two characters appear together, & Norma Jean taunts Marilyn for not living up to her earlier aspirations.
