Paroven capsules provide relief from the symptoms of oedema associated with chronic venous insufficiency. It has uniquely useful therapeutic actions in the microcirculation & particularly in the post-capillary venous segment. Oxerutins reduces capillary leakage & hence oedema formation. Oxerutins works by reducing leakage from the small blood vessels (capillaries). Leakage of fluid out of the capillaries can occur when there is poor blood circulation in the veins, particularly in the lower legs. This is because the pressure of the fluid in the veins builds up when there is inadequate flow & forces fluid out of the capillaries into the surrounding tissue. Oxerutins prevents abnormal leakage of fluid from the capillaries & therefore reduces swelling.
