It is used for the relief of: fever (raised temperature), post-immunisation fever, teething & toothache, colds & influenza symptoms, sore throat, headaches, & minor muscular aches & pains. It can also be used in minor injuries such as sprains & strains. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. How to use Nurofen Ibuprofen suspension. For oral use only. This product is to be used in children aged 7-12 years. Each ml oral suspension contains 40 mg ibuprofen Each 5 ml measuring spoon of oral suspension contains 200 mg ibuprofen. Each 2.5ml measuring spoon of oral suspension contains 100 mg ibuprofen. Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. This product is twice the strength of normal ibuprofen suspension & you should be careful that you use the correct dose.
