The active ingredient is diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that causes sleepiness or drowsiness. Temporary difficulties in getting a good nights sleep can be caused by various problems such as stress, jet lag or personal problems such as bereavement. Numark Sleep Aid 50mg tablets need to be taken orally. Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure Children aged 16 & over; take 1 tablet with water before bed NOT TO BE USED BY CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE/NOT TO BE USED BY THE ELDERLY WITH CONFUSION If you forget to take your 50mg tablet DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose, take the next dose at the usual time as described in this leaflet, if your have further questions talk to your doctor or pharmacist When should I NOT take Numark Sleep Aid 50mg? Numark Sleep Aid 50mg tablets should not be taken if you are currently Pregnant or Breastfeeding Have Asthma Bronchitis Suffer From COPD Liver or Kidney problems Epilepsy or Seizure disorders Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking these tablets if you are taking any prescribed medicines; particularly tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors within the last two weeks, atropine, also avoid the use of other antihistamines including those used on your skin & cough & cold medicines, while taking this medicine Are there any side effects when taking Numark Sleep Aid 50mg? There can be some side effects when taking Numark Sleep Aid 50mg, however not everyone will get them.
