All of us have "off" or "bad" days from time to time such as when the car breaks down on the way to work, but for some people this state of low mood can go on for weeks, if not months. Low mood, however, should not be confused with clinical depression which is diagnosed by a GP or psychiatrist & patients are generally put on a course of antidepressants. There are many different factors that can trigger low mood. For some people, upsetting or stressful life events such as bereavement, divorce, illness, redundancy & job or money worries can be the cause. People often talk about a &downward spiral& of events that lead to a prolonged state of low mood. For example, if a relationship with a partner breaks down, they are likely to feel low, they may stop seeing friends & family, & start drinking more
- all of which can make them feel even worse. Karma is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the relief of slightly low mood & mild anxiety, exclusively based on long standing use as a traditional remedy.
