It is used for the relief of: fever (raised temperature), post-immunisation fever, teething & toothache, colds & influenza symptoms, sore throat, headaches, & minor muscular aches & pains. It can also be used in minor injuries such as sprains & strains. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. How to use Ibuprofen suspension. For oral use only. Each 5ml of the oral suspension contains 100mg of the active Ibuprofen. Do not give to children aged 6 months & older for more than 3 days. Consult your doctor promptly if your symptoms persist or worsen or if you get new symptoms. From 3 up to 6 months: (weighing over 5kg) 2.5ml 3 times a day. Do not use for more than 24 hours.
