Exorex Lotion isthe most important product within the Exorex Management System as it isindicated for the treatment of psoriasis whilst others arecomplementary products designed to assist in the management ofpsoriasis. The patented formulation contains 1% prepared coal tar in abase of esterified essential fatty acids. Althoughyou may notice an improvement within a few weeks, it can sometimes takelonger for improvement to occur. Remember no two sufferers are thesame. Exorex Lotion can be diluted to suit individual requirements. Dilution isrecommended if you have sensitive skin, if you are a long-term suffereror have used steroids in the past. Dilution is also recommended for theelderly & children under 12. Shampoohair in the morning (or evening if you prefer) with a compatiblenon-irritant shampoo such as exorex hair & body shampoo. Applyexorex lotion to the affected areas of the scalp & massage in lightlyfor a minute (again, do not worry about getting exorex lotion on “goodskin”
- no harm will be done). Applyexorex scalp moisturiser to the affected areas of the scalp & massagein lightly for about a minute. (If you are also using exorex lotion onyour body you may find it easier to apply the scalp moisturiser to yourscalp after applying Lotion to the affected areas of your body). Donot rinse off. Repeat at midday (if at all possible) without shampooinghair. Repeat midday regime at night. At this time you can replace scalpmoisturiser with exorex moisturising cream if you feel this would bemore beneficial. Withthe exorex lotion & scalp moisturiser, only you will know that youare using anything. Simply put a brush/comb through your hair once dry. Note: You should not apply exorex lotion to the body more than 3 times daily. However, there is no restriction in daily use of other products withinthe range. Therefore, you may wish to apply them in between Lotionapplications to help reduce itching & irritation. How to apply Exorex Lotion: Adults & children over 2 years of age should apply a thin layer 2-3 times a day. Massage gently & leave to dry. Infants & elderly should dilute with a few drops of freshly boiled & cooled water before use as above. Before using Exorex Lotio For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
