Feeding requirements are greater in late autumn & winter when natural resources are in shorter supply & high energy levels are also needed during spring when birds are busy breeding & raising young. Once you have established a feeding regime
It is ideal for all year round feeding of wild birds as not only do they find it delicious but also it is highly nutritious & a great source of energy giving food.
Due to an RSPB requirement this will not be supplied with a net this is because the nets can be very dangerous to birds. Many are breaking limbs whilst getting stuck in the nets & also swallowing them; this is a very common problem which we now hope will be avoided.
