WWX ribbon is a general purpose ribbon particularly adapted to standard label printing where good mechanical resistance is required. The ink provides an excellent print quality of picket & ladder barcodes, very small text, large characters, & logos. The ribbon structure allows printing on various label stock, such as coated & uncoated papers, & some synthetics. The printed ink offers enhanced smudge resistance compared to standard wax, & heat resistance up to 65° C (149° F). These characteristics remain at speeds up to 300mm/s (12 ips), & with 200, 300 & 600 DPI printheads. WWX features Wasp's outstanding backcoat technology ensuring excellent printhead protection, no clogging & prevents static build up.
