Take control of Sam Fischer once again in the latest instalment of the franchise in Ubisofts Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Blacklist. Following on from the events of the previous game, the corrupt 3rd Echelon unit has been shut down and replaced by the new, even more elite 4th Echelon team. Tackle the terrorists Created at the behest of the President, you play the role of Fischer as he leads this new unit in a race against time to find and stop The Engineers as they look to instigate a sinister plan known as The Blacklist a countdown of increasingly deadly terrorist attacks against US assets. With time running out and with lives at stake, you are officially above the law and can do whatever you deem necessary to find out and put a stop to the attacks before its too late.
Enjoy new game play mechanics as you participate in action; with the killing in motion feature, you can highlight targets and then take them out in quick succession while on the run. You can also use Kinnect to influence whats going on in game as well as using it to control the character, you can also say and shout out loud to distract on-screen enemies before you launch your attack. Choose your style Of course, you dont have to go in all guns blazing; make your choice and play in one of three different play styles and youll be acknowledged accordingly. For players who favour stealth, you can play as a `ghost stick to the shadows, remain undetected and get the job done if youve done it right no-one will ever know you were there. As an `assault style player you
favour brute force, instinct and firepower they may know that youre there, but theyll be dead soon enough, so hey - it doesnt matter. If you like to strike a balance between the two, youre a `panther youll stick silently to the shadows at first, but only until youre in the optimum position to quietly and lethally strike out and neutralise the threat. Play with friends For the times you want to play against friends, the Spies vs Mercs multiplayer mode provides an enjoyable and challenging test against fellow players. Choose between a team of agile and stealthy spies who need to infiltrate and hack terminals for information, or play as a heavily armed Merc youre there to defend the information and you have no intention of doing it quietly!
