Now its time to step through the Mists of Pandaria, the latest offering from Blizzard. Unravel the legend of the Pandaren World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria introduces the Pandaren, a race that stretches back thousands of years but which has remained a race of myth and legend to the other races. The product of rich and fertile lands, the Pandarens have faced a bloody past. Under the oppression of the Mogu warlords, they developed a unique form of unarmed combat which allowed them to revolt against the Mogu, freeing them from their reign. The last Emperor of the Pandaren aimed to protect his kind from the demons and evil invading Azeroth,
shrouding the land with a mist for ten thousand years. Few ventured beyond the mist, and those that did explored on the back of a giant turtle roaming the waters of Azeroth. As a Pandaren, youll start off on the back of this giant turtle, meeting plenty of characters as you complete your training in bear-handed combat, before having to make the ultimate decision: will you aid the Humans, Night Eves and Worgen of the Alliance, or will you stand with the Orcs, Blood Elves and Tauren of the Horde? Mastering the way of the Monk World of Warcraft: MOP also introduces the new class of the Monk. Capable of damage, defence and healing, this strong class are masters of bare-handed combat, healing injuries with ease thanks to ancient arts. Not only can they deal considerable damage to
anyone standing in their way, theyre able to take it too thanks to their unpredictable combat style. New features Your gameplay in WoW: Mists of Pandaria is set to become even more exciting with the introduction of several few features. You can now progress your characters up to level 90 as you explore areas such as the Jade Forest. Theres also challenge modes, which let you compete with your friends for rewards for your character. Remember your cute little pets and companions that follow you around? Now they have a job. With the Pet Battle System, you can teach your pets skills and attacks and pit them in battle against other pets. As they level up theyll develop new skills and abilities. You can also capture pets from the wild too, so you can take your pet-keeping to a whole new
level. With new scenarios, raids, dungeons and a revolutionised talent calculator that awards a new talent point every 15 levels, WoW: MoP offers a whole new way of playing your favourite game.
