Product Description

Greedy Gorilla Game Hear the gorilla burp Encourages healthier eating Best selling, fun game Learn to recognize junk food Requires 3 x AAA batteries (included) This hilarious, educational game helps children learn the difference between healthy food & junk food in a fun way. Each player starts with a menu board, showing (in words & pictures) different ingredients to make up a healthy, nutritious meal, such as salmon with new potatoes & vegetables, with a pear for dessert & water to drink. The food cards are initially laid face down on the table & players turn them over one at a time, trying to match them to their own menu board. However, mixed up with the healthy food cards are junk food cards, such as chips, doughnuts & pizza. If a player turns up a junk food card, this must be fed into the Greedy Gorilla's mouth, which causes him to burp loudly. When he burps, all players have to put their hands to their mouths & say " Excuse me!" The winner is the player who fills their healthy eating menu board first. The game encourages memory skills & ties in with maths & PSHE in the National Curriculum. It can also give you the opportunity to discuss different foods with your child; they will learn to recognize the different foods, & learn which are healthy & which are not. The Gorilla comes ready fitted with 3 x AAA batteries, & is made with strong, wipe-clean recycled board. It is a game for 2 to 4 players, aged from 4 to 8.
