Ronnie Peterson Lotus 72 1973 formula One Italian Grand Prix. Ronnie Peterson made his debut with the March team in 1970 &, in only his second season, he gained five second places & was runner-up to 1971 world champion Jackie Stewart. It was not until 1973, when he joined Lotus, that he gained his first victory at the French Grand Prix, followed by victories at the Austrian, Italian & US Grand Prix, achieving third place in the world championship.
