In a relatively short Formula 1 racing career; Damon Hill achieved much; including the World Championship in 1996; & was a great ambassador for British sport. From his first full season in 1993; to his famous victory at the British Grand Prix in 1994. Through his battles with Michael Schumacher in 94/95; rising to the challenge of team mate Jacques Villeneuve in 96; in the uncompetitive Arrows Yamaha; but for an hydraulics failure; victory was assured at the Hungarian Grand Prix and; in 1998; we all remember his historic race at Spa to give the Jordan F1 team it’s first ever F1 victory.
