There are hundreds of varieties of Eucalyptus; Radiata has a sweeter, more rounded aroma & is less likely to irritate the skin than the more common Eucalyptus Globulus. Radiata can be used in all of the instances where Globulus would be appropriate & may therefore be the preferred Eucalytpus for children, etc. Eucalyptus is well-known for its clearing & anti-septic properties & is thus extremely useful during the winter months.
