They are also larger than most bedrooms of this category hotel & have been decorated with funky lighting that you can change to suit your mood, fashionable furniture, & flat screen televisions, to name but a few unique features that this hotel has to offer. The bathrooms were also modernised & are also in very good condition This hotel is located slap bang in the centre of Amsterdam, close to Central Station, the red light district, the Kalverstraat which is Amsterdams main shopping district, & the Jordaan, one of the nicest areas of Amsterdam with its typical canals & bridges. Due to its location, their is no restaurant in this hotel but the breakfast room is located in the lobby, also renovated in 2009. It is quite a dark space as the fixtures are predominantly black, however, it is very up to date & almost chic with large tables, an attractive bar behind the reception, a flat screen television & a intimate lounging area.
