Just five minutes from the Piccadilly train station in the city centre, the Britannia Hotel Manchester is a landmark occupying a Grade II-listed medieval building that dates back to 1857. The metro & bus stops are practically at its doorstep, just a minute away. All the rooms come with en-suite bathrooms & full facilities. The decor is in fair condition, if not a little dated. As the building is old, the rooms vary in size from quite small to very large. Triple rooms are either a double or twin room with an extra bed (not three single beds). For meals, you will find three in-house restaurants
- Cromptons which serves French cuisine, Jennys which offers traditional English fare, & a pizzeria serving Italian cuisine. The hotel also has an extensive bar that opens till late.
