The table is complete with a resilient clear lacquered finish that protects the surface & brings a subtle sheen to the oak, enhancing the natural depth & beauty of the grain. For occasions that require more space at the table, the Cheadle is extended via an internal extension mechanism with an oak panel. To lengthen the table, the surface separates from the centre, allowing room for the panel to be placed. When not in use, the panel is stored within the table.
