DESCRIPTION
Thymocapryl promotes a normal flora of yeasts and fungi in the intestines. Thymocapryl is a combination of caprylic acids (as magnesium and calcium caprylate) and thyme extract (standardised at thymol) and is intended to cleanse the intestine and to increase the resistance against bad bacteria and fungi. The product has a special coating that ensures the caprylates and the thyme extract are only
released when they need to do their job, which is in the large intestine. Without this coating the caprylates are absorbed into the bloodstream even before they have reached the colon. High doses of caprylic acid (a few times the recommended dose) may in some cases cause irritation of the stomach and
nausea. This can be prevented by taking Thymocapryl during a meal. WARNING Do not take during pregnancy or if breast-feeding.
