Cottons Super Applicator Tampon Directions: Wash your hands thoroughly before & after inserting a tampon. Remove the wrapper, make sure the string is tied securely & hanging outside the applicator. The mechanism of the applicator is similar to that of a syringe. Adopt the position most comfortable to you (eg sit with knees apart squat or stand with one leg on the toilet). Hold the tampon with the base of the applicator between your thumb & index finger, with your other h&, open the folds of skin at the vaginal opening & gently place the rounded tip of the applicator in the vaginal opening insert the rounded end of the tampon at a slant towards your back. Slide the external insertion tube completely into your vagina until your fingers touch your body. Then push the internal insertion tube with your index finger inside until it is inside the first tube. This will position the tampon correctly inside your vagina.
