- Winter Brand: Simple Pleasures Top Tips for Planting Bulbs: Plant bulbs in well drained soil, two to three times the length of the bulb deep & two bulb widths apart. Make sure you plant your bulbs with the point facing upwards. Mix some bone meal or Bulb Planting Compost into the soil at the bottom of the hole. Water the bulbs after planting thoroughly, to help them settle in & close any air pockets. You may want to cover your newly planted bulbs with wire netting to prevent mice & squirrels digging them up. - BARE ROOT ROSE. Ideal for beds & borders, this repeat flowering rose produces beautiful clusters of blooms on attractive foliage from May to September. Key Features Height & Spread 55cm x 60cm. Position Will thrive in most well drained soils, on an open sunny site. Planting Water thoroughly or stand container in water for an hour before planting.
