The Bittern & national rail line are accessible from the village & from here you can access Norwich, Sheringham & Cromer & enjoy the opportunity of leaving the car behind. The village has excellent eating places as well as a cafe, butchers, green grocers, newsagents, a small super market & is also close to The Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary.== Hurlingham House is a handsome Victorian house, just a fifteen minute walk from the sea. It is well set back from the road, overlooking the common, which has a small stream. It is a very pleasant & well-equipped house, offering a high standard of accommodation. There is also the benefit of an attractive, good-size garden. Notes: There is a damages deposit of £100 payable to Norfolk Country Cottages,  two weeks before your holiday. We regret it will not be possible to park caravans or campervans at the property.
